Not horsing around!
We hope you enjoyed our recent April Fools' Day prank, "Pioneering Urban Transport Solutions in New Zealand."
While the idea may have sparked some laughter, we want to take a moment to address a serious issue.
The reality is that horses, like all animals, deserve to be treated with care and respect. And every year hundreds of standardbred racehorses retire from racing, many do not have the chance to enjoy a life after racing. Addressing this is issue are Stable to Stirrup, a Charitable Trust committed to changing this, believing that every ex-racehorse deserves a chance for a life after racing.
If you were intrigued by the idea of horses in urban settings, we invite you to learn more about Stable to Stirrup and how you can support their mission to help horses in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these magnificent animals.
